Solway provides a 'Buddy' system for new Prep year students.

At the start of the year, each new Prep student is paired up with a 'Big Buddy' who will be in Year 5. They will help settle the new Prep students into school life, including being an older 'friend' in the playground.

There are a number of activities organised with the new Prep students and their buddies throughout the year, including lunches, morning teas, cross age tutoring and shared activity sessions.

Our Year 1 students enjoy activities with their Year 6 Buddies.
