Our Camping Program is a valued and sequential part of school life, designed to support students’ personal growth, independence and social development. These experiences play an important role in building resilience, confidence and strong relationships, while providing students with opportunities to learn and thrive in settings beyond the classroom.
The program begins in Prep with a Teddy Bear Sleepover, providing a gentle and engaging introduction to overnight-style experiences in a familiar and supportive environment. This experience helps build students’ confidence, independence and excitement about future camps.
In Year 1 and Year 2, students participate in an on-site evening and overnight program that includes shared activities, games and meals, with a gradual progression to an overnight experience for Year 2 students. These experiences focus on developing independence, cooperation and a sense of belonging, while ensuring students feel safe, supported and successful.
In the middle and upper years, students further extend these skills through off-site camps. Our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 students participate in three-day, two-night programs that offer a range of adventure-based and outdoor learning experiences. These camps provide rich opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and personal challenge, while strengthening peer and teacher relationships.
